Barrie police are investigating a recent armed assault involving a number of suspects at a south-end plaza and are appealing to the public for information.

On Friday, May 10, just before 11 p.m., Barrie police responded to a reported robbery at a plaza located on Essa Road in Barrie.

From the investigation that followed, police say responding officers have been able to confirm that two male victims were approached by three occupants who had emerged from a red, four-door Chevrolet Cruze.

The third man is also white and was wearing a hoodie with SP5DER on the front. He was carrying a flashlight.
